We have been admitted again. Plan is 24 hours. Catheter has been clotting and dialysis treatment has not been cleaning blood as effectively as it should. The build up of waste has been the cause of nausea and vomiting the last few days. He has a dialysis treatment today to clean his blood, will be given a medication to break up the clot around his catheter over night, and do another dialysis treatment in the morning. Fingers crossed the medication does what we hope it will do so we can avoid a surgery to replace his catheter.
