Alex had a biopsy on his kidney today. They said his kidneys are small for his age. Still no function. They are sending the biopsy to Columbia in NY to run tests. Hoping those tests reveals some answers. He is breathing with very little support and they are hoping to take out the ventilator soon. He is more lucid and spending some more time awake.
We continue to use the letter board to communicate.
